Introduction

My husband and I are the Children's Ministry Directors at Light of Hope Community Church in Dauphin, PA.

Our children's department is small but growing. We are very excited to see what God is going to do with these children and how He will use them to spread His Word.

The curriculm we currently use for our elementary aged students is Firm Foundations-Creation to Christ developed by Trevor Mcllwain with Nancy Everson.

For our Pre-school to Kindergarten students, we are using Gospel Light's "My God and Me ."

I recently read "Transforming Children into Spiritual Champions," by George Barna and my heart broke to learn how "at risk" our children are. I'm not sure exactly how I will address this for the children at Light of Hope but I am asking God to reveal to me what I should do and how I should do it, know what I mean?

I'd love to hear from other who are involved in Children's Ministry and who have a heart for children.
